Of all the things to do in Madrid with kids, visiting the puppy panda at the Zoo Aquarium is probably the one your children will love the most. This small animal, called Xing Bao, was born in August 2013 and was only 15 centimeters tall and weighed 210 grams.
Since then, it has grown. In January 2014, it weighs more than 5 kilograms and has changed a lot. This small white creature has turned into a nice black and white panda, but still lives with its mother in a separate room, with constant temperature and humidity. Xing Bao, who has two brothers in the Chinese reserve of Chengdu, can be watched all weekends th festivities from 12.30 PM.
The Zoo Aquarium of Madrid is located inside the Casa de Campo Park, a wooded park in Madrid surroundings. The general price to get in this Zoo is 18.90 euro and the best way to get there is by Metro, getting off at Casa de Campo Metro Station (Line 10). You can also take the Line 33 of bus service.
