There is no better way to travel to the 19th century than by visiting the Museo del Romanticismo (Romanticism Museum), especially if you attend to some of the concerts that this institution offers to the public. These shows are some of the most original Madrid attractions if you want to feel the emotion of old music.

This month, the Museo del Romanticismo offers free concerts (booking needed) with different instruments. On January 21st, Hugo Selles will play various piano pieces by Chopin, Liszt, Bach and the Spanish Merchan. On January 30th, Jennifer Clift and Cy Williams will play classic violin and guitar, with an additional international repertoire. Tangos and traditional pieces from United Kingdom and USA.

The Museo del Romanticismo is located in 13 San Mateo street. The nearest Metro station is Tribunal (Lines 1 and 10). It also has a rich collection of paintings and objects created in the 19th century.
