Atletico Madrid Schedule February 2015

January was a great month for Atletico de Madrid, which has won four of five games played. For great sadness of the fans, “los cochoneros” lost against Barcelona F.C. team, missing the opportunity to be just one point below Real Madrid in the table of La Liga BBVA. After this month, Atletico still third in the leaderboard with 44 points; to 4 points behind Real Madrid and 3 points behind Barcelona team. Below Atletico team are Valencia with 41 points, Sevilla with 39 points and Villareal with 38 points.

January has been a month of celebrations and reunions. Fernando Torrres “el niño Torres” has returned to the team. His spectacular performance against Real Madrid in Copa del Rey competition have earned him the acclaim of the fans.

In February, Atletico de Madrid will be facing Celta and Sevilla as the visitor team and Almeria at home. The first match of the month will be the city derby against Real Madrid in Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Saturday. 7th at 4:00 p.m. Get your tickets NOW!

Almeria and Celta teams do not represent a threat to El Cholo Simeone’s team. By contrast, matches against Sevilla and Real Madrid can jeopardize the stable position of Atletico in the leaderboard. Losing against Sevilla team would draw on the table with Valencia, and losing against Real Madrid would erase the chances of winning La Liga 2015.

The Europe’s Champion League start with the second round on February.
